Busy Window Box

Things have been insanely busy at the window box in the days I have been distracted by holiday performance projects.  And a lot of the consumption can be laid at the feet of these little rascals -- Tufted Titmice.  It seems like there are an army of these seed-grabbers, but in reality only three or four are sweeping in and making off with the goods.  Those few moments when I have been able to watch gives me the impression of a crazed airport: birds are in and out constantly.  All this at a cheap plastic feeder box!  Definitely consider one of these in your feeder plans.  The birds don't understand "cheap", only when-will-you-refill-it?
